How do you get rid of clutter once you’ve made a decision to remove it from your home?   You might experience some level of guilt because you spent good money on these things.  There are several places to sell your belongings by replacing them with cash.  Who can’t use a little bit of extra change in their pockets, right?  Here are four places to get rid of your clutter for cash.

“One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.”
Rummage sales are a great way to get rid of your clutter for cash.  If you don’t have quite enough stuff to hold a decent sized yard sale.  Consider telling your family and friends about your goals to declutter your life.  See if they’ll join you in the process.   Have them bring their items to the sale so they can make some extra cash too. If a rummage sale is to big of hassle, then here is another place to sell your personal affects.

Consignment shops are an excellent place to get rid of clutter.  Take your closet clutter here to resell.   A benefit to this is that these shops will sell your clothing for you.   Consignment shops are in right now due to economical and fashion trends.   Your possessions costing you a pretty penny can be sold online.

“Let the bidding begin”
Get rid of clutter containing a high monetary value at online auction sites like eBay.   You can sell just about anything on eBay.   Electronics, collectibles and a huge of variety of things can be bought and sold here.  If this seems to be too much of a time consuming task,  you can pay someone to list and sell items for you.  The other alternative my family and I personally use is classifieds.

Craigslist and newspaper classifieds are an excellent place to get rid of clutter fast.   Personally I’ve had much success with Craigslist.   It’s simple and easy to use.  List your items; include pictures this makes selling a breeze, and include contact information.

Clutter can be turned into cash, if you know the right places to take them.  Get rid of your clutter by turning them into some ch-ching by taking them to any of these four places.
