For the decluttering process you will need the following supplies:

Begin picking up any clutter to be thrown away, by placing it in the trash bag. Next identify any items that don’t belong in the room, and placing them in a box with an appropriate label. For example, if there dirty dishes in the bedroom, these are items that belong in the kitchen. Now look for unnecessary items that you no longer use and are in decent condition to be donated to charity, sold or given away. These items are to be placed in a box with the appropriate label. Now it’s to move to…

Phase Two : Organize and Declutter: Placing items where they belong

The box of items that don’t belong in the room immediately take to the place in your home where they belong. Take the trash out. The box of donations drop off to your charitable organization. If you are planning to sell items, designate an area in your home until the day of sale.

Phase Three: Organize and Declutter: Rinse and Repeat

Once you are done with one room, take a good look and give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done.
