You can’t a job without the proper equipment.  The same thing applies with organization.  How can you organize if you don’t have the right tools.   I’ll share the three most important organizing tools for creating effective solutions for your life.

One must have in my list of organizing tools is a planner.  Why?  It helps keep my schedule organized with a list of priorities for the day.  I keep a list of current projects in mine for referencing before I get to work on them.   It also serves as a reminder what are upcoming tasks to clean and organize my home.  The planner need not be a fancy one.  A simple three ring binder will do.  You can find many calender and planning templates online for free.   If you’d like to learn how to make a planner yourself, click this link.

In my arsenal of organizing tools you will find action plans.  If you haven’t begun decluttering and/ organizing this one is a must.  My action plans are kept in my planner.  The action plans are broken down step by step so no project is overwhelms me.

Now this is an organizing tools that no home should go without, the maintenance plan.  How are you going to keep your home organized if you are maintaining it on a regular basis?  Determine the frequency of how often cleaning and decluttering needs to be performed .  Who will be participating? Organization is an going task if you truly want your life to flow.

Once you have these organizing tools and use them maintaining home organization soon flows together.  Just remember to use these three: a planner, an action plan, and the maintenance plan.  The proper use and equipment can make any job be done right.  Here’s to  an organizing job done well!
